Persistent impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. Burnout. Loneliness. Dealing with a Hybrid World. Juggling multiple personal and professional responsibilities. In any given day, we face these and other challenges, which shake our sense of psychological, mental, emotional, and physical wellness. Is it any wonder that we ask: Am I strong enough? Speaker's Bio

LeaNora Ruffin is the Assistant Dean for Career Development at Widener University Delaware Law School and Founder of Total Radiance Coaching, LLC. Drawing on her training as an attorney and 25 years of experience in career counseling and leadership development, she has successfully helped thousands of professionals gain focus, remove mental and emotional barriers and plot a strategy for personal and professional fulfillment.

LeaNora is certified by the International Coaching Federation and received her training from the Coaches Training Institute. She practiced law in Philadelphia and obtained a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania and her law degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. Through her private coaching business, she builds on her naturally strategic orientation and channels her passion for strengthening teams by conducting trainings in the areas of strategic planning, decision-making, stress reduction, leadership and communication.

Her strong organizational skills have propelled her to various advisory and leadership positions including President of the National Association for Law Placement (NALP), NALP Nominating Committee Chair, coaching faculty for NALP’s Foundations in Coaching program, President of the Delaware chapter of the American Council on Education Women's Network (DAWN), and grant reader for the United Negro College Fund’s Career Pathways Initiative, a $50 million investment funded by Lilly Endowment to help HBCUs strengthen their career development strategies and increase the number of graduates entering jobs in their chosen fields.

She also has served as Career Coach for the International Career Advancement Program which helps mid-career professionals from underrepresented groups advance to more senior positions in international affairs. LeaNora was selected by her peers to become a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation, an “honorary organization of attorneys, judges, law faculty, and legal scholars whose public and private careers have demonstrated outstanding dedication to the welfare of their communities and to the highest principles of the legal profession.”
