The 2024 DAWN Executive Committee is so excited to announce the launch of the new DAWN website.

This all-in-one platform will enable the chapter to post content, manage memberships, and collect event registration all in one place. New features include...

Easier Sign-up for Members

  • Begin or renew your membership via credit card on the Join Page. Once you join, you'll be asked to take a quick survey to update your employment status. We'll use this to customize your experience as a member.
  • If you want to become more involved on a chapter committee, check the "I want to volunteer" checkbox. You'll have the opportunity to share more about your interests on the Volunteer Sign Up page. A committee member will reach out to you with more information.

Register for Free and Paid Events

  • Visit the Upcoming Events page to see the calendar and map of chapter activities. More events are in the works. So stay tuned and check back often. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email with additional event details.
  • View the Past Events page to reminisce. If you have high-quality photos from a previous event, send them to Sarah Marshall at [email protected] for inclusion on the website.
  • Click on the "National ACE Events" to visit the National Council on Education's events page.

Receive Email Messages

  • Our new website also manages our email lists. As a member, you will automatically receive our latest email updates. But if you want more information before you join, sign up for our Mailing List

Familiar Features, New Look

  • You can still access all the DAWN Rising Podcast episodes through the website and directly on Spotify
  • DAWN Visionaries and Leadership and Rising Star Award recipients are highlighted in the Awards section
  • Our Bylaws are now posted all on one page.

All websites are iterative, so if you spot a glitch please let us know by emailing Sarah Marshall at [email protected].

Many thanks to Jasmine Couch, Lily Cloyd, Sarah ElShawarby, Deb Harbaugh, Joy Jordan, Kathy Murphy, LeaNora Ruffin, Karen Sheats, Lisa Terranova, and Val West for their assistance throughout the website development and launch.
